OUR MISSIONHonoring Those Who Served with CompassionThe Nurses Honor Guard is a dedicated group of nurses who pay tribute to those who have devoted their lives to caring for others. Much like the Military Honor Guard, we attend funeral and memorial services to recognize the service, compassion, and dedication of nurses who have passed. We proudly serve Hamilton, Butler, Warren, and Clermont counties in Ohio, offering this tribute at no cost to the family. The ceremony can take place at a funeral home, church, or graveside, providing a meaningful farewell that acknowledges the nurse’s lifelong commitment to healing and service. Through a special ceremony, we honor their dedication with solemn respect, bringing comfort to loved ones and ensuring their contributions to the nursing profession are never forgotten. | Watch our tribute video |
The Nurses Honor Guard provides Living Tributes for nurses during their final months, often when they are in hospice care. These brief but meaningful ceremonies offer a special opportunity to honor and celebrate a nurse’s life and career while they are still present to hear the words of gratitude.
During the tribute, Honor Guard members share highlights of the nurse’s career, speak about their dedication to caring for others, and offers heartfelt thanks for their service to the profession and the countless lives they touched. It is a powerful way to affirm their legacy and remind them that their contributions will never be forgotten.
